We are looking for a Demand Planning Assistant. Within the Demand Planning team and reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will support the team working on the forecasts and allocations processes, in order to guarantee the reliability of the Demand plan. By the end of the internship, you will have learned the specificities of the Demand Planning processes in an international and fast-growing business. You will also strengthen your analytical skills and your knowledge of the industry.
Product under allocations
 Contribute to the management of the allocations between the different markets for Novelties and Regular products.
Ensure the visibility to the Sales Administration Team, Commercial Team and Markets before the launch of new products.
In charge of the weekly allocation report.
Contribute to check the flow of the stock with the markets abroad.
Analyze the sales versus the forecasts for monitoring purposes.
Assist markets to update or confirm their allocation through the new platform.
Demand Planning operations
Contribute to update the forecasts for permanent products on your commercial scope.
Support teams in markets/subsidiaries in their requests, like extracting data for forecasts vs budget, providing the benchmark for the newly launched products, analyzing the year to date versus the year to go etc.
Contribute to establish the forecasts for the Byproduct category, for permanent and one shot/monthly drop items.
Project Management
Be proactive and support in the implementation of the new process of allocations and forecast.
Participate in the implementation of new Demand Planning Dashboards for Catalogue and Novelties follow up.

Reporting and analysis
Contribute to analyze stock and sales.
Prepare analyses of sales and forecast.
Contribute to analyses the new launches.

We would like you to start in January 2024, this is a 6-months full time paid internship.

Preferred experience

You have strong interpersonal skills combined with good communication skills.
You are proactive and you show curiosity with a can-do attitude.
You are able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely manner and in a fast-paced environment.
You are rigorous, detail-oriented and willing to work on numerical/data analysis.
You have a personal interest for the luxury and/or beauty industry – this a plus!

You are a student in Business and/or Engineering School or University, looking for a gap-year or end-of-study internship starting in January 2024.
You can provide an internship agreement from your school/university.
You are fully proficient in Microsoft Excel (working with numbers is your thing!)
You ideally have a first experience in a Demand Planning team and/or Operations Department.
You are fluent in English and French.
