The position

Job description

he Sales Team is growing fast and is looking for a Key Account Executive (fluent in German)! 👋

The Key Account Executive is responsible for Batch’s commercial development in a new market: the Germany 🔥🔥
You will conduct a strategic analysis of the national market and develop both the MRR and Batch’s customer base in the region.

Your role will involve :

Mapping :

  • Study the market and speak to as many people as possible to identify and map the right contacts for both existing and new clients (and their subsidiaries);
  • With the support of the Business Operations team, identify high priority targets (by vertical/organisation type/level of access)
  • Be the guardian of knowledge across the local competitive landscape and the associated product offerings.

Sales :

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle working with the available resources: Product Specialists, Marketing, CSM, Legal.

Preferred experience

- Fluent German speaker with knowledge of the German market (French as a second language desirable)

  • SaaS experience and/or MarTech highly desirable
  • A background in Inbound/Outbound sales and new business closing (3 to 4 years of experience in Sales)
  • Pragmatic approach, results-focused, intellectually curious
  • Strong sense of responsibility, fully independent with a keen interest in developing new markets
  • Culture of delivering and exceeding objectives
  • Strong relationship building skills, excellent communication skills
  • Dynamic and full of energy

Recruitment process

Batch follows the same procedure for all its interviews with 4 simple and clear steps for each candidate:

1 - Initial call and introduction (15 to 30 minutes).
2 - Face-to-face interview with HR and the relevant Team Leader (45 minutes).
3 - Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely, presenting to 4 or 5 Batch employees.
4 - Meeting with one of the Batch founders (30 to 45 minutes).

At the end of this 4-step process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
