The User Research team’s mission is to help everybody at Back Market get to know and love our users so that we can create great experiences for them. We gather insights about what users need through a range of qualitative and quantitative techniques and translate them into valuable information for the product and design team.
As an User Research (UX) Intern, you will work on the e-commerce experience Back Market provides to its customers, using insights to provide actionable recommendations for improvements, as well as contributing to improve our research processes, tools, and communications. You will also work closely with our business and product teams to ensure a user -centered culture in our problem and solution definition.

Bring stakeholders (business people), designers, product owners and engineers together to build, maintain, and evolve a robust experience for Back Market’s customers
Listen to business problems and helping craft action plans
Conduct qualitative research to collect insights and build strong recommendations
Launch quantitative studies to discover trends and validate the hypothesis
Work closely with product designers to ensure that your recommendations have the maximum impact
Present the results of your work to the company and make sure that the value of research is understood
Contribute to the development of the UX Research team with your colleagues

You are looking for a 6-month, full-time, internship based in Bordeaux, France, from January - June 2026
English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability) for you. If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!
You have experience or convincing knowledge of best practices in conducting research (qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as usability testing, observational research, user interviews, surveys, card sorts, contextual inquiry, etc.)
You have strong presentation and communication skills.
You have e-commerce experience, that would be a plus but it's not required.
