Politics and gossip make for a great episode of Game of Thrones, but they’re no fun in the workplace. You’re part of the team, not in competition with it. Cultivate a deep compassion and respect for your teammates. We’re better as a whole when we learn from each other.

That also means everyone’s doing the work together. No one is too senior to just talk and not do. No one is too big for a small task. Everyone should be willing to get their hands dirty as we keep our eyes on the prize.

Time is by far our most precious resource – not just as Back Makers juggling multiple projects, but as humans living on an imperiled planet.

We must work together to maximize this resource and constantly ask ourselves if our time is properly allocated or if it can be more impactful elsewhere.

Sharing time as a team is also about spending powerful, meaningful moments together in and out of the office, making memories to strengthen our relationships and culture.

We won’t let ourselves be abused by Apple’s sweet videos. Mother earth is not satisfied. Tech industry is still way too linear. Here is our raging fire, here is our battle.
