Are you ready to join us? 

As a Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a seasonal activation calendar and overseeing the activation process for new campaigns, seasonal pages and evergreen pages in Back Market’s key markets. Your role will be crucial in driving effective engagement and boosting conversion on both our website and app.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, Brand, Category Management, Product Marketing, Country leads, Studio, Designers and Copywriters, to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources for successful site activations.

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT):🥇

  • Campaign activation and platform content activation:
  • Define the site activation calendar to support global campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
  • Draft campaigns’ user journeys and create detailed briefs to represent our vision.
  • Collaborate with our in-house Studio on assets requirements and delivery and ensure content meets brand guidelines.
  • Create, update and publish content across different Merchandising touch points.
  • Coordinate larger content implementations with external agencies.
  • Strategic alignment and stakeholders coordination:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all site activation initiatives and communications.
  • Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in site activations (such as Category Management & Product).
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on activation progress and address issues proactively.
  • Performance monitoring and User journey optimization:
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as engagement, conversion rates and revenue generated from site merchandising initiatives.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and provide actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Benchmark best practices from competitors and propose actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate with product teams to test and implement new features aimed at increasing conversion rates.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • You have 4+ years of experience in merchandising.
  • Master degree in Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing & content activation, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (experience with Contentful is a plus), and website analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on user experience.
  • Analytical skills to monitor website performance and draw actionable insights.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting project requirements and priorities.
