As a Senior Front-End Developer, you consider yourself as a craftsman and you will have the wish to improve the quality, the performance and the security of our code base and our products.

The Care tribe is composed of 3 cross-functional squads including 8 front-end engineers today.

The tribe provides products and services aiming to deliver a best-in-class Care tribe experience to our customers. Our solutions are used by millions of customers, thousands of sellers and after-sales support agents.

Examples of such solutions are:

1) Provide self-service information to customers regarding their orders

2) Enable customers to contact Back Market or the seller for their after-sales requests via the right contact channel

3) Organize their product return, replacement or repair

Technical environment

Our platform is based on Nuxt/Vue.js and our own Design System. We love TypeScript, our design tokens and Tailwind are in a bromance, and we do our best to be accessible to anyone.

Everything is Server Side Rendered, and served through Node.js, Cloudflare CDN and Cloudflare Workers. Our GitHub contributions go through CircleCI, to be fully tested by Vitest, the Testing Library and Playwright. We release and deploy in production multiple times a day.

Required profile :

  • You have already worked on projects based on Vuejs, React or Angular.
  • You have significant experience with web technologies such as Javascript, NodeJS, HTML 5 and CSS.
  • Quality of code is your priority and you follow best practices.
  • No, no, no, no, testing is not doubtful (Clean code, TDD, BDD, DDD, DDD, SOLID)You are curious, proactive and invested.
  • Scrum and kanban are not karate katas and you hate the V-cycle.
  • You are comfortable working both in a team and also working independently to ensure goals are achieved. 
  • You have the ability to foresee where your interfaces may need to be altered to keep in line with the company strategy.
  • You want to join a challenging technical environment: GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, RestFul API, Python, Django, VueJs, Nuxt, Algolia, Datadog, Spinnaker, SQS, ElasticSearch, Nginx, UWSGI.
  • Bonus Skills :

  • You understand the back-end constraints and can design an API call.
  • You're good at finding cool names.
  • You have experience with Single Page Applications served in Server Side Rendering such as Nuxt/Next
  • You've already tried TypeScript, Flow, etc...
  • Beginner chess players accepted. We also accept those who prefer board games and music, we even have an in-house music band ;)
  • You bring so much energy to the team that even coffee gets jealous
  • You spot issues before they even think about becoming problems. It's like you have a sixth sense for trouble—call it "Spidey Sense," but for engineering
