The position

Job description

The Sustainability Investment Strategist will work with the various internal stakeholders – portfolio managers, sales, quantitative analysts, research analysts, compliance officers – to ensure RI efforts are aligned across the CORE Business Unit. The job also entails working with the RI Center and other AXA IM Business Units to share information and harmonize best practices.

·       Strategy Development: Monitor the implementation of the sustainability strategy across the CORE BU with its alignment with the company’s business goals. Lead the organisation of the various committees which form the backbone of RI governance at AXA IM CORE and follow up on committee decisions. Establish a strong relationship with other Business Units of AXA IM to ensure convergence on RI topics. Anticpate the future trends in RI and engage with the various internal and external stakeholders to prepare AXA IM CORE response to these new challenges.

·       Project Management: Coordinate and manage sustainability projects across different investment teams (Fixed Income, Multi Asset, Equity). In close collaboration with the RI Center, contribute to the preparation of AXA IM RI Committees.

·       Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives.

·       Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports in accordance with relevant standards such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.

·       Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the BU complies with relevant environmental and social regulations and AXA IM Internal Policies

 


Preferred experience

Education / Qualifications

 

-        Master’s degree (Business,Sciences) or MBA

-        Qualifications in Sustainable Finance is a plus (CFA ESG)

Experience

5 years+ experience in ESG, finance or economics 

Skills

-        Fluent in English

-        Knowledge of sustainable finance, ESG criteria and KPIs

-        Good understanding of financial markets and financial instruments

-        Project management skills

-        Strong know-how on how to manage priorities and connect different teams

-        Excellent writing and presentation skills

-        Leadership, capacity to influence

-        Reliability, pro-activity

-        Team spirit, and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
