Within the Group, you will join the Group Sustainability department.

AXA’s Group Sustainability Team

The Group Sustainability Team (‘GST’) works to support AXA’s long-term strategy to build a stronger and safer society aligned with AXA’s purpose ‘Act for human progress by protecting what matters’. The team works with all AXA Group’s professional families to integrate Environmental, Social and Governance issues into its operations, products and services.

For instance, AXA launched its AXA For Progress Index to continually measure its progress and to reinforce its sustainability strategy. It has 7 commitments as an:•    Insurer •    Investor •    Exemplary Company 

ESG Business Development and Outreach team:In order to reach our goal to act for progress by protecting what matters, we need to get closer to our customers’ needs through insights, analysis, etc. prior to developing any offer/product at Group or local level.

A team within GST is dedicated to ESG business development. In addition to some transversal projects such as the S&P's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and the implementation of Sustainable finance regulations, this team works with entities to develop insurance offers: •    That support our customers on their climate transition (energy transition but also transition to circular business models / practices) and adaptation journey.•    That addresses vulnerabilities to meet the needs of the underserved populations, in order to bridge the protection gap (Inclusive Protection program).

Mission:

The intern will be responsible, whether autonomously or in liaison with the relevant professional families and/or local entities, for the following: 

  • Gathering information on products related to Inclusive Protection (including ‘Women in insurance initiative’), Transition & Adaptation Insurance and Responsible Savings across the Group. 
  • Presenting this data and information efficiently
  • Benchmarking internally and externally to identify and leverage best practices (including for instance summary of webinars or reports)
  • Provide on-demand support to central functions and local entities 
  • Participating in data collection (volume, revenues, retention, equipment) & analysing KPIs against targets 
  • Participating in the analysis and completion of the Group’s CSA

The trainee will ensure the completion of important deliverables on complex and high-visibility projects involving multiple and senior stakeholders at AXA Group and/or AXA local company/region level

Preferred experience

Profile Requirements

1- Education

  • Business or Engineering School or University,

 

2- Pre-requisites

  • Fully fluent in English and French (oral and written), fluency in other languages is an advantage but not mandatory (e.g. Spanish, German)
  • Excellent skills at MS Office (notably Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Multi-tasks oriented and capacity to prioritize and deliver results within a given time

  • Excellent communication and relational skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong organizational skills to monitor multiple projects in parallel;
  • Ability to use common sense in a complex environment;
  • Proactivity;

  • Some notions in marketing a significant plus
