About our entity

 

AXA Group Operations is a sustainable, technology-driven company. Our entity is one of the key catalysts for the AXA Group's transformation. The AXA Group Operations teams are composed of:

 

- Group Technology Operations and Group CIO: define AXA's global IT strategy; promote IT convergence within entities and provide them with shared services;

 

- Group Security: protects employees, our stakeholders, and the AXA brand by securing information and managing cybersecurity, physical security, and operational resilience;

 

- Group Data AI & Innovation: defines the Group's data maturity ambitions; builds and manages the community; conducts research and expertise; assists less mature entities in terms of data; identifies cutting-edge technologies and develops disruptive ones for the entities; creates use cases for specific technologies with the entities;

 

- Group Procurement and Sourcing: defines AXA's purchasing strategy, its guidelines, and Group standards; manages relationships with our strategic suppliers and accelerates business-specific purchasing;

 

- Group Strategic Program Management: ensures the consistency of global projects with the Group's strategy; oversees the implementation and performance of strategic projects;

 

- GO General Secretary & Risk: Defines the risk management framework and ensures its proper integration into the design of our products and procedures to promote decision-making in a more secure environment.

 

- GO Transformation: Accelerates agile transformation within Group Operations; establishes and implements a common human resources, communications, and change management strategy for our entity.

 

- GO Strategy, Organization & Processes: The GO Strategy team leads the definition and implementation of the AXA Group's operational strategy, directs GO investments, and ensures the successful execution of GO's strategic and critical projects. GO Organization, Processes & Data manages and oversees how we operate cross-functionally at GO: ensuring the alignment of our organizational structure with our target operating model, and defining and implementing a common methodology for process improvement.

 

- GO Finance: GO's finance department guides and oversees GO's strategy, plans, establishes, and monitors budgets and financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements, monitors cash flow, and ensures strict compliance with local and international tax laws.

 

- Global Business Services: AXA Global Business Services plays a multifaceted role; from managing insurance operations to support functions, the entity leverages data, technology, and various capabilities to support partner performance.

 

ENVIRONNEMENT

The Public Cloud Management function of Group IT was launched to order to accelerate cloud adoption and industrialization to support the evolution of AXA towards digital. It aims at enabling AXA entities to rapidly develop end-to-end solutions by offering services that are perfectly aligned to business needs.

 

In order to support faster Time to Market, help govern Cloud exploitation, foster sustained security and compliance and optimization of consumption, the Public Cloud Management team provides an AZURE Competency Center to work with AXA Entities to define the AZURE Foundation (Landing Zone) technologies, tools and processes.

 

Public Cloud Business Unit has a central team, AZURE Competency Center, whose mission consists of:

  • Work with Technology Office to define strategy, architectures and roadmap for AZURE services
  • Work with Security, Compliance & Audit teams to incorporate their needs into the AXA AZURE Foundation
  • Define and promote leading practices around AZURE services
  • Supporting the implementation of new projects (new AXA entities on-boarding on existing or not yet existing platforms)
  • Providing level 3 technical support on AZURE services (Organizations, Foundation, Subscriptions, Blueprint, Policies, etc…)

 

DOMAINS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Work with AXA Entities to identify the AZURE services required to enable business applications and data in the AZURE cloud, help ensure the usage of leading practices in terms of architecture, security and integration with the existing AXA landscape. Contribute to ensure AXA entities are onboarding projects into AZURE by leveraging the existing and extended AZURE services and capabilities of the AZURE Competency Center.

 

 

MISSIONS

  • Help the team testing or automate testing for services and products we deliver
  • Collaborate with operational and project teams to design and deliver AZURE services according to schedule
  • Provide tier 3 support to AXA Tech teams on day to day support issues, break/fix issues, and scheduled maintenance, if needed
 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Expectations

  • Understanding of following Azure Cloud technologies :
    • AZURE Accounts Organization
    • Networking (Private Link, Direct Connect, etc.)
    • Security (IAM, WAF, etc.)
    • Storage (Azure Storage, Blob, etc.)
    • Database (CosmosDB, Azure SQL, etc.)
    • Application services (Web App, Functions, etc.)
  • Application development (programming skills)
  • Understanding of application architecture
  • Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (pipelines, CICD)
  • Understanding of DevOps and Agile practices

 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Familiarity with ITIL, configuration, capacity and change management

PROFILE

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work in an international context, with remote teams, in a matrix organization
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as independently
