Within the Group, you will join the newly created Global Chief Underwriting Office in charge of establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Insurance Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design and Technical Underwriting Excellence & monitoring in partnership with the AXA Entities, for all lines of Business.

Votre poste et vos missions au quotidien :

P&C Commercial Group Underwriting Office is looking for an apprentice to join the Business Performance team. The mission of the apprentice is to assist the team as “Business Performance Analyst” on all tasks.

In particular, the apprentice will be expected to:

• Support the team in the preparation of various technical analysis and reviews notably by preparing appropriate dashboards. In addition, the Apprentice will help to centralize and follow up, on a regular basis, recommendations and improvement plans agreed with AXA entities. 
• Support to build and improve the Quarterly Technical Monitoring Process through revamp of dashboards and automation, as well as templates preparation. 
• Support the team in providing management presentations and regular update on business underwriting performance and related topics, including technical and financial KPIs. 
• Support the team in discussing with entities about underwriting performance reports and participate in ad-hoc analysis on P&C Commercial line business. 

These activities require a good appetence to project and data management, as well as good analytical skills and the desire to develop technical and financial skills related to P&C business.

Compétences techniques et professionnelles requises, niveau d'expérience :

Compétences non-techniques : 

Education: Business or Engineering school or master’s in Insurance and/or Actuarial

Experience: Work experience of 1 year in Insurance (notably in P&C business) or Financial Services Consultancy would be preferable

Expected skills to successfully achieve the apprenticeship:

• Motivation to learn about new topics, proactive and problem-solving mindset 
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of VBA would be preferable. 
• Understanding of the insurance business would be preferable 
• Ability to organise, analyse and summarise in a clear way 
• Ability to a work in a multicultural environment with diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Fluent in English
