Meet Luc, CEO & Co-founder
After 7 years working for the space industry in R&D and in program management, Luc chose consulting, first in Europe, then in the US.
In 2009, with his associate Fabrice Vigier, he decided to found Avencore with the ambition of making it an international reference in consulting for industries, specialized in operations competitiveness.
Rencontrez Romain, Partner
Romain graduated from Centrale Supélec and the Technische Universität Berlin in 2014.
He started his career as a gas turbine development engineer at Alstom Power.
He joined Avencore in 2016 and led numerous projects to improve the performance of complex systems (satellites, fighter jets, electricity transmission equipment, offshore wind turbines), as well as several transformations of large engineering departments.
He has been part of the management team since July 2024 and focuses on the development of two main sectors: space and renewable energy.
Meet Matthieu Partner
Matthieu joined Avencore at its creation in 2009 after a double degree from Mines de Nancy and Imperial College London.
As a Partner, he is specialized in the Energy and Transport sectors. Matthieu has an extensive track record at Avencore, supporting dozens of large international groups on projects with high economic stakes.
In addition to managing customer relationship, Matthieu is part of the management team in charge of internal activities such as recruitment, career management and communication.
Rencontrez Sébastien, Associate Partner
With more than 20 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain consulting, Sébastien joined Avencore in 2024 as an Associate Partner to further develop these practices.
A graduate of Centrale Lyon and Politecnico di Milano, he began his career in Italy and has consistently maintained a strong international focus throughout his various engagements.
His primary industries of focus include aerospace, chemicals, construction, electronics, and pharmaceuticals, where he has led numerous cost-reduction initiatives, operating model reviews, and digital transformation projects. Sébastien has also developed particular expertise in industrial CAPEX and OPEX.
Rencontrez Maud, Manager
Within Avencore, Maud has specialized in CAPEX optimization, Design-to-Cost, and organizational Transformations. As a manager, she oversees project execution and is responsible for the deliverables quality, while contributing to the training of consultants. Beyond her assignments, Maud actively promotes the use of AI as a daily tool for consultants within the organization.
Her preferred sectors are nuclear energy, the food industry, and consumer goods.
Before joining Avencore, she worked for 2 years in operational research on the bus network of a public transport operator.
Maud is an industrial engineer. She graduated from MIT (MS in Transportation) and Ecole Centrale Paris (Industrial Engineering).
Meet Thibault, Consultant Senior
A graduate of Arts et Métiers and emlyon business school, Thibault joined the firm in early 2023 after a first experience as a Production and Industrialization Manager within a mid-sized industrial company specializing in aerospace and defense.
Since then, he has been leveraging his expertise to support projects focused on improving industrial performance, reducing costs, and deploying CAPEX investments, primarily in the nuclear, defense, and energy sectors.
He has developed strong international experience through projects carried out in more than 10 countries worldwide.
Rencontrez Amélia, Consultante Senior
After completing her engineering degree at Mines Nancy, Amélia joined Avencore in 2023 for her final-year internship before moving into a full-time role.
She has contributed to the successful delivery of large-scale projects in the nuclear, defense, and energy sectors, addressing challenges related to product cost competitiveness, maintenance and production scheduling optimization, and procurement performance.
As a Senior Consultant, she serves as the primary point of contact for operational matters, ensures the successful execution of engagements, and supports the development of more junior consultants.
Rencontrez Gaspard, Data Scientist
Gaspard became part of Avencore in 2024 after completing his data science studies at École Polytechnique and HEC Paris.
Driven by the ambition to deploy complex data science models to improve the industrial competitiveness of our clients, Gaspard has worked on assignments in the defense and energy sectors.
His work style is hybrid, combining the roles of consultant and Data Scientist. This dual expertise allows him to merge Avencore's industrial knowledge with the potential of machine learning models to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Rencontrez Gwenaëlle, Consultante Senior
A graduate of CentraleSupélec in 2022 with a specialization in industrial engineering, Gwenaëlle first discovered Avencore during an internship at the firm’s German office, before continuing the journey in the French team.
Since then, she has been applying her expertise to transformation projects, performance improvement initiatives, and cost reduction programs across various industrial sectors, including nuclear and aerospace.
As a Senior Consultant, she combines day-to-day project management with mentoring junior consultants and actively contributing to the firm’s development.
Meet Vincent, Business Developer
After Legal studies at Assas Paris II and an MBA International Business Development, Vincent decided to work in business development and customer relationship.
He supported consulting firms in developing their client portfolio in the banking, insurance, and services sectors before specializing in industrials sectors in 2018.
Vincent now supports Avencore in finding new customers and boosting customer relationship for existing and former customers.
