    The difference you’ll make

    As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will join Aqemia's Engineering Team who shapes the infrastructure of our data- and compute-intensive in silico drug discovery pipelines.

    You will ensure that Aqemia's product teams can launch and monitor scientific calculations on thousands of servers.

    What you'll do

  • Keep our compute platform reliable, available and cost-efficient:
  • Monitor and maintain the health and reliability of our various applications, infrastructure and software components

  • Build tools and production frameworks to enable our engineering team’s build and deploy complex applications
  • Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner, and conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent future incidents.
  • Conduct performance benchmarks to ensure systems can handle spikes in traffic and usage.
  • Managing and maintaining cloud-based systems and services, including configuring, deploying, and monitoring cloud resources.
  • Your profile

  • 4+ years of experience in site reliability engineering
  • You handle infrastructure with code because automation let's you focus on the more difficult and rewarding problems
  • You have production experience with orchestration and monitoring tools, e.g. Kubernetes, Grafana, Loki.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (ideally Terraform)
  • Good knowledge in one object-oriented language development (ideally python)
  • Good knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and products (AWS, other cloud experience is a plus)
  • You are experienced finding the right balance between quality and fast iterations
  • You know how to interact with technical stakeholders
  • DevOps knowledge would be appreciated
