The position

Job description

Apricity provides a medical service: we sell fertility treatments to patients as any traditional clinic. But we deliver this service in a completely new manner thanks to a cutting-edge digital platform that includes:

  • a mobile application and web portal for our patients.
  • a web Patient Management Portal for the internal use of Apricity’s medical and operations team.
  • a hosted suite of medical software (EMR, digital consent platform, email encryption, tool for communicating with partner clinics) for internal use by the Apricity medical and operations teams, which interface with our platform.

The CTO and Tech Lead are both working on Apricity’s tech strategy and managing the team. Today, the team includes a team of 8 full stack developers a data team of 6 DATA scientists.
Apricity is growing fast and we’ll be 12 developers in 2023!

About our stack:

  • Languages: Typescript: React, Node JS ; SQL
  • Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)
  • Devops: Ansible, Packer, Serverless
  • Web: NestJS, NextJS, FHIR, Storybook
  • Mobile: Flutter, iOS / Android

Your role:

We are hiring a Fullstack Developer who will work on our web patient management portal.
We are looking for a developer experienced in React and NodeJS interested in developing front-end development skills.

Your responsabilities:

You’ll participate to deliver the best features for our internal tools, including development of administration screens, interfaces for secure medical data sharing between patients and doctors, interfaces for treatment recommendation algorithms…

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will be:

  • Develop on the patient management platform with the following tech stack: Typescript/Node.js, React, NestJS.
  • Develop new functionalities with intuitive and simple user interfaces to be used by different stakeholders (doctors, nurses, etc.).
  • Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews.
  • Write unit tests and functional tests.
  • Correct bugs.
  • Help build a progressive learning culture across the team.

At Apricity, everyone can take the lead on his project, you’ll be autonomous but you’ll enjoy developing your skills with our fullstack team! They are all experienced in both front and back environments, mobile and DevOps topics and also passionate about code and healthcare.

Preferred experience

Who are you?

  • You have significant expertise in Typescript.
  • You have significant expertise in React, Webpack, and designs integration with reusable components. We use Next + Ant Design + Storybook.
  • You have good knowledge in connecting to 3rd party APIs and data synchronization techniques.
  • You have good knowledge in automated testing techniques and processes.
  • You have expertise in building a modern web application. We use Next JS / React.
  • You can communicate orally and in writing in English with our international teams in London, Madrid and Sofia.
  • You believe that code review and pair programming are mandatory good practices.
  • You are familiar with Git source code management (e.g. GitHub) and Project Tracking Software (e.g. JIRA).
  • You like the challenge of evolving in medical environment.
  • You are interested in product conception and you want to develop those skills.
