The Team

Ankorstore partners with brands to grow their wholesale business through simple, efficient, and cost-effective ways to connect with independent retailers, process orders and handle logistics. In order to deliver the best experience possible to the retailers, we need to accompany those brands through a best in class account management. That’s the mission of the French Brand Success Team, that is responsible for managing and growing brands available on Ankorstore. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Category Manager and Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth within a specific category. The team values collaboration, curiosity, and a customer-centric approach to achieve exceptional results in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.

Main Responsibilities 

This paid 6-month internship provides a unique opportunity for you to gain valuable experience in the e-commerce industry and contribute to the growth of Ankorstore's brand portfolio. You will:

  • Assist the Category Manager and Business Development Manager in their day-to-day operations, working together to drive growth within the assigned category.  This may involve conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing insights to shape category strategies

  • Be a primary contact for part of the brands within your category : Collaborate with the BDM to identify high-potential and fast-growing brands within the category and be a dedicated contact for any commercial recommendations in order to generate revenue

  • Improve inputs that have an impact on growth: Contribute to enhancing the quality of inputs from brands with low scores. Focus on brands that have the biggest impact in terms of Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS) generated and develop strategies to improve their performance on the platform

  • Support Cross-Team Initiatives: Actively participate in cross-team initiatives aimed at enhancing overall brand success. Collaborate with different teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support to drive initiatives that improve the brand experience on Ankorstore


To excel in this internship, we are seeking candidates with the following profile:

  • Proactive mindset: Willingness to take initiative, show autonomy, and take ownership of assigned tasks and projects

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes and taking on new challenges

  • Strong sales mindset : With at least one previous experience in sales, you’re not afraid to pick up the phone and conduct a high level of phone calls to reach your team’s objectives

  • Strong analytical abilities: Ability to analyse market trends, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights from data to support decision-making processes

  • Team player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals

  • E-commerce knowledge: Familiarity with the e-commerce/wholesale industry, its trends, and key metrics will be advantageous

  • An internship agreement with your university will be required

  • Native-level French and very good English are essential for success in this role
