    Purpose of the job

    To support our rapid growth in France and Europe, we are looking for a Associate / Senior Associate in our Financing Team, dedicated to securing the funding / optimizing the capital Alma needs for its consumer lending activity in order to sustain its fast-growing business. It is an exciting and unique opportunity to be part of a very strategic function in a fast-growing company.

    About the position

    • Play a meaningful role in developing and executing on Financing strategy to enable the company’s rapid growth
    • Own deal processes from start to finish, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution on different type of products (securitization, collateralized bonds, credit facilities, hybrid instruments etc.)
    • Create and own financial models, cross-functional discussions, and ad hoc analyses that drive strategic decisions with respect to Financing transactions
    • Take charge of communication with internal Teams such as Sales and Risk to drive scale for Alma’s funding strategy
    • Build and manage relationships with existing and potential investors
    • Develop a strong understanding of Alma’s business from a unique perspective and learn how Financing fits into broader corporate initiatives

    About you

    Hard skills – theoretical knowledge

    • Master degree in Finance or equivalent
    • 4+ years of professional experience, especially in structured finance, fixed income investing or ALM
    • Good understanding of the financing challenges of a Fintech
    • Strong experience in securitization. Derivatives, ALM, capital optimization knowledge would be a strong advantage.
    • Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment (early stages)
    • Fluent in English, another European language is a plus.

    Hiring process

    Because of the importance of this role for Alma, the process is quite intense. Yet, we'll aim at running it in 2 to 3 weeks maximum
