Job description

To make our ambition to become the European leader on the (very) hot market of BNPL come true, we are looking for a Key Account Manager.

Your mission will be to build long-lasting relationships and provide a state-of-the-art experience to Alma's most strategic accounts, resulting in high loyalty, advocacy and business growth.

Within the Customer Success team, your main responsibilities will consist in:

Developing and managing a portfolio of key accounts:

  • Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with Alma’s most strategic accounts
  • Develop trust with key stakeholders
  • Position Alma as a key strategic partner on the long run, helping the merchants achieve their goals
  • Be the key point of communication for the key accounts’ stakeholders

Identify and harness new potentials:

  • Navigate the key accounts' organisations to identify new opportunities to grow the business (for example in terms of new B.U., new products, or international expansion)
  • Harness these new opportunities, leveraging internal and external capabilities
  • Work on potential European expansion with your colleague in other Alma's countries

Build and implement success plans with key accounts:

  • Anticipate the needs of key accounts and identify opportunities for mutual gains.
  • Bring internal teams on board to develop and implement strategic solutions to achieve merchants' long-term goals.
  • Pilot the strategic projects to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.

Deliver superior insights:

  • Prepare in-depth reports on the impact of Alma on the key accounts' businesses
  • Provide meaningful, actionable insights to key accounts to help them grow their business
  • Monitor industry and market trends to develop a deep expertise, share it internally and externally

Your experience

  • You have 5+ years of experience ideally in Key Account Management, Enterprise Sales, or in Consulting
  • An experience in the software business is a major plus
  • You are fluent in English

ABOUT THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Because of the importance of this role for Alma, the process is quite intense. Yet, we'll aim at running it in 2 to 3 weeks max.
