Within AllianzCare, the Business Solutions department is primarily responsible for business support though implementation and management of contractual business relationship. It ensures this activity is conducted in support of the group development strategy and product and underwriting policy, in compliance with group legal guidelines.

Allianz Care comprises one insurance company (AP H&L) with branches overseas, a group of TPA subsidiaries located in the Middle East and activity exercised worldwide through fronting companies. We are looking for a Lawyer with a good experience in international insurance law matters. The role will be primarily involved with the operational tasks listed above.

Activities will cover all contractual matters of the ongoing Health and Life / Disability business, and support Allianz Partners legal team strategy and initiatives. The role reports to Allianz Care Head of Business Solutions.

Responsabilités principales:

• Execute and oversee all company business contracting processes including, but not limited to, drafting, negotiating and reviewing client, brokers, and fronting arrangements
• Be the source of up to date expertise on market access conditions,
• Review all Tenders and RFP answers executed by the company for both entities AP Health& Life and AP Services Limited
• Direct and defend the organisation against insurance claims litigation, and oversee the prosecution of the organisation’s claims against others
• Review and advise accordingly regarding product related materials, including certificates of insurance, brochures as well as on-line marketing materials, employee benefit guides
• Proactively retain current and up to date knowledge on relevant statutes, legal trends and case law
• Review or issue relevant legal documentation and agreements, review changes to legislation and determine the potential impact on business
• Identify the regulatory risks that the company faces that link to business objectives and goals, and oversee the design and implementation of necessary controls to protect the company from regulatory risks

• Post graduate law degree from commonwealth country or Level M2 in Europe
• 3 to 5 + years working experience with international insurance, preferably Health
• Comfortable working both in French and English, orally and in writing
• Strong skills to support multiple priorities across Health business and AP legal community
• Strong communication skills inside and outside the legal community
• Strong business acumen with solution oriented mindset
• Significant experience in commercial negotiation and management of business partnerships
• In depth understanding of health insurance market, products and services
