About the role
Tell our quantum story to the world. You will serve as the chief voice connecting our cutting-edge technology to institutional audiences, reporting to the Marketing Lead and collaborating closely with executive leadership. Success in this role requires translating complex breakthroughs—from deep physics and engineering specifics to software and business milestones—into clear, captivating public messages.
As Alice & Bob's PR Manager, you’ll manage our PR agencies and coordinate announcements with both internal stakeholders and external partners, a crucial responsibility in crafting the company messages and building its long-term reputation.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with PR agencies, ensuring alignment on strategy, deliverables, and performance. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance brand reputation and visibility.Draft, edit, and oversee press releases, media pitches, op-eds, newsletters, webinars scripts and other written content.Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, KOLs and industry stakeholdersLeverage the above-mentioned relationships to create extra coverage opportunities including media trips, visits, exploratory interviews and proactive pitches.Manage crisis communication efforts and provide guidance on sensitive messaging.Collaborate with the marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.Monitor media coverage, track performance of PR campaigns, and prepare reports for leadership.Oversee editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.Act as a spokesperson or prepare executives for media engagements when needed, producing Q&As and providing training and media briefings.Review and manage company-broad, externally-facing communications such as newsletters, podcasts, media conferences Q&As and similar.Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or content strategyProven track record of securing media coverage and managing press relationshipsExceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to tone and clarityStrong project management and organisational abilitiesAbility to translate complex topics into engaging, accessible contentExperience in science communicationBachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fieldNice to have
Experience in digital content strategy, including blogs, social media, and newsletters.Experience in quantum computing sector.Knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools for content performance tracking.Background in a deep-tech industry (e.g., AI, health tech, synbio...).Familiarity with thought leadership programs and executive visibility campaigns.Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or junior team members.Benefits
