We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help make our Akeneo SaaS platforms to be resilient, secure, and scalable. The ideal candidate is keen on building production & operation tools with strong coding skills and a deep understanding of how to run and scale SaaS platforms.

🧠 What you will do?

At Akeneo, you will:

• work on a daily basis as part of a multidisciplinary organization (SREs, customer support) to focus on production, operation, and service run engineering topics and challenges,
• provide orchestration services to bring resiliency to Akeneo applications,
• analyze issues that arise in operations across a broad stack of multiple web services, various databases, file servers, and big data services,
• contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure to support our strong growth,
• develop software and tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure and software delivery capabilities,
• write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform,
• have a career progression (diversity of topics and job positions, external and internal training),
• play in an international background and goal-driven culture,

🏅The skills we require

Solid experience in the following technical fields is welcome, we have high expectations on these topics. We are interested in your profile for this position if:

• you have experience with Terraform and one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, ...),
• you have experience with Docker, Ansible, Helm charts or Kubernetes,
• you have good experience with Go language or any similar ones (C++, Java),
• you are able to design SLIs/SLOs and implement monitoring tooling such as Datadog,
• you are familiar with SRE principles and culture.

Strong "plus" if you have knowledge in:

• proven Kubernetes in-production experience,
• security fundamentals,
• production resolution experience (escalation, crisis management, post-mortem)
