About the role:

We are looking for an outstanding Solutions Engineer to join the North America Revenue team. As Aircall is going upmarket, the importance of Solutions Engineering is continuously growing. The Solutions Engineering team lives in the intersection of Sales, Customer Relations, and Product and enables all the teams with the technical knowledge they need in order to achieve their objectives. This person is going to be the third-ever SE in the region, and they will be able to make a big impact on our team, our product, and our customers!

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with all the local regional managers/directors, Account Executives (AEs), and Customer Success Managers (CSM) during the sales process and throughout the customer life cycle
  • You will be providing technical product expertise especially integration, responding to RFIs, RFPs and helping customers by designing and leading Proof of Concepts (POC) to showcase Aircall and its capabilities
  • Integrations, APIs, and webhooks are the main focus of the team and where we can bring value
  • You will be mapping your customers and leads processes and tools in order to understand how we can connect Aircall with their existing process and turn their phone system into their productivity tool
  • Give product knowledge and expertise to all the business teams: new Integrations, upcoming roadmap, APIs use cases, customized workflows
  • Set up POCs together with your customers providing technical and network expertise also in the pre-sales activities
  • What you'll bring:

  • 1 to 2 years or more of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering / Sales Engineering, or you have always been the person goto person for technical questions while playing a role as an AE or Strategic CSM in a tech company
  • You know the basics of at least one programming language (e.g. Javascript, Ruby, Go, Python, etc.) and are well versed in integrations, APIs, and webhooks
  • You are curious and able to think outside of the box to find creative solutions
  • Entrepreneurial and not afraid to make mistakes
  • Customer-centric and focused on wanting to understand the reasoning behind every customer choice; you also love going into the nitty-gritty details of their use cases
  • Understanding why is what drives your daily conversations and you are ready to challenge people's thinking in a positive way
  • You live in the nexus between business, sales, and technology
  • You have a proven track record of managing complex projects and several stakeholders with different backgrounds (you can convince the Head of Sales and also talk tech with the Product Manager)
