The Executive Director Revenue Strategy at Accor is responsible for steering the company's revenue management strategy, with an additional focus on revenue & profit management solutions strategy with a forward-thinking approach.

This role is pivotal in evolving revenue management within the group and ensuring the success of our revenue management strategy, including the RM Solutions. Reporting directly to the VP, Revenue Strategy, you will be at the cornerstone of our strategic initiatives.

The person will facilitate cross-functional team collaborations as well as to support executive leadership and stakeholders within the business in developing business strategies, inclusive of long-term goals and objectives, key risk management, and driving business and project initiatives.

The ideal candidate will as well with providers and key stakeholders within the group.

The role is also a highly collaborative one and, in this position, the director works with business leadership centrally and at business unit levels, product, IT, and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the business’s departmental strategies are aligned to advance the overall Accor strategy. In addition the person, will be responsible for the account management of all external providers.

 

Your mission: 

  • Oversee the global revenue management practice framework, ensuring consistency, scalability, and innovation across all regions and brands – and aligned with global corporate goals
  • Conduct strategic case studies to explore advanced levels of revenue management, in collaboration with other commercial teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Distribution leaders to define and implement group-wide revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Lead the discovery and exploration of new technological solutions for revenue management.
  • Lead product management of RM related solutions, to fit business need from Accor. Collaborate with IT and Product teams to deliver a suite of Accor-referenced products.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for collaboration and escalation with regional hubs from a revenue solutions perspective.
  • Act as the key entry point for providers, including with supporting RFP and negotiation processes when relevant, and commercial relationship.
  • Escalate issues to IT when necessary and document fixes with the Onboarding and Success Team.
  • Develop tools for the efficient and smooth roll-out of new solutions across regions, in collaboration with other revenue management teams
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global revenue strategy team.
  • Assist in budgeting for the department related to the remuneration of solutions.

  


Preferred experience

And you? 

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in Revenue Management Systems (RMS).
  • Strong analytical, conceptualization, and strategic skills.
  • Technologically savvy with an understanding revenue management solutions, as well as PMS and CRS used within Accor network
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Accor's business model, challenges, and profitability.
  • Innovative mindset.
  • Team management skills
  • Fluent in both English and French.
