The position

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by La Vie Foods
  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers: Industrials, Collective restaurants, answer to social public offers, Co-packers; understanding their challenges and adressing them through innovative partnerships
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations with our culinary expert
  • Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contacts with existing customers
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic moving forward
  • Generate and submit sales reports to our Head of Sales

Preferred experience

COMPETENCIES

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales, preferably outside sales and broaden knowledges of the Food service industry
  • Recent experience growing a brand and pioneering sales
  • A mix of large and small manufacturer experience in your background
  • Highly collaborative approach, internally and externally, with ability to collaborate with all types of functions (R&D, Marketing, Finance, Operations…)
  • Proven success working independently and navigating in an ever changing and often chaotic (and exciting) high growth environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills French and English
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomous, curious and proactive
  • Last but not least : passionate about food
