We at Generali CEE Holding, within the Controlling Department, are looking for a new team member for the position of BI Specialist.

What will be the main responsibilities?

• Managing internal databases, creating queries, analyzing data, and developing visualizations and reports for projects
• Developing and maintaining the BI solutions serving the business analysis
• Coordinating BI team within Controlling department, assigning and prioritizing tasks
• Collaborating with Controlling and IT teams across the CEE region of the Generali Group (10 countries)
• Administering analytical platforms e.g., MS Power BI (MS Fabric)
• Identifying opportunities for automation and implementing them
• Preparing and updating technical documentation

What we need from you?

• Education in a technical field (IT, mathematics, statistics, economics)
• At least 3 years’ experience in BI field; cooperation with finance/controlling is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of finance and/or insurance industry is an advantage
• Very good English skills (used daily with colleagues and the manager)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Professional knowledge of SQL (especially T-SQL) and MS SQL Server
• Advanced knowledge of ETL
• Knowledge of automation (RPA) tools such as Power Automate
• Good data modelling skills (adding dimensional tables/columns/relationships)
• Advanced knowledge of reporting/visualization tools such as MS Power BI, including development of objects using DAX in the data model
