In the Czech Republic we have two divisions – BNP Paribas Cardif Insurance and Services, which primarily focuses on the development of key software for insurance companies within continental Europe.

This role covers following activities

• Implementing systems and services in accordance with compliant architecture and service catalogue
• Ensuring appropriate system configuration and data backup
• Deployment, administration, monitoring and management of current version of Linux servers instances mostly in virtual envitonment (VMware)
• Close cooperation with other teams such as architecture, application support, development, security and more
• Contributing to system and service availability according to approved SLAs
• Investigate faults in system and server infrastructure within approved SLAs
• Knowledge and experience in any of following areas is advantage: security, monitoring (Nagios, Dynatrace, Zabbix), backup and DR

Your profile

• Fluent English spoken and written - our environment is multicultural and you will use English everyday
• Experience in similar position for 5 years at least
• Linux system administration experience with overlap into IT technical security area applied in IT Infrastructure and IT environments – either locally or in external Data Centres
• Analytical skills
