Design, build and deliver expertise initially related to Data Product Ownership:

• The transformation of businesses through data products development: advising our clients throughout their journey of digital transformation leveraging data and technologies in order to ensure meaning, success and measure the creation of value.

• The design of new data products: support our clients to identify needs and opportunities to collect and leverage data for business purposes, imagine the most valuable use cases and build innovative products.

• The end-to-end development of data products from the vision to the delivery and the adoption, acting as the coordinator and supervisor between business owners, data engineers and developers to translate user needs into functionalities.

• Types of products: Dashboards, Data Warehouses, Data Platforms, Data Marketplace, Websites & Apps features, Solution integration, Advanced Modeling & Analytics.

You orchestrate clients’ data product development and guaranty the value of the deliverables working with tech & business teams:

• Identify business needs and acknowledge data & technical resources

• Define user journey, requirements and related functional specifications

• Prioritize and nurture a product roadmap

• Test the quality of the features and encourage process review

• Deliver incremental value with continuous optimization

You participate in broader client’s projects beyond developing data products like data factory, insight lab, tech infrastructure, change management… leveraging your expertise in methodology, organization and tools.

You help the Data Intelligence Manager in:

• Building and animating the team and the expertise (recruitment, training, mentoring)

• Developing the practice’s offering and clients’ portfolio working on upsell, cross sell and new business opportunities

• You contribute to strengthen Jakala’s recognition as expert in the field of data product development and digital transformation

• You learn from team members, train them and think ahead to identify the next innovations and trends to invest on

• You are critical in setting the culture of Jakala in France so the next generations of #Jakalers feel our values when they get in touch with anyone in the team

• Connect and leverage with an international network of like-minded professionals

• You are in a unique position to benefit and share with all the #Jakalers around the globe, whereas you want to design global solutions with our clients or leverage expertise not available in France

Postgraduate degree in business, engineering school or university equivalent, you have at least 4/6 years of experience in data analysis / data management, and as well proven experiences in agile project/product management.

• You have experience in working with business and technical counterparts, identifying priorities and use cases, supporting solution deployment, formalizing and presenting your projects/products to senior stakeholders.

• You are comfortable presenting business proposals with clients or prospects

• You have successfully delivered or run data projects / products following Agile principles

• You are familiar with some programming languages like Python, SQL and / or DAX & PowerM and Cloud providers like GCP, Azure, AWS.

• You enjoy designing and animating workshops to crunch topics and frame user needs

• You are organized, rigorous, problem-solving oriented and have an analytical mindset with the ability to take decisions and manage people expectations

• You care about clients’ satisfaction and act proactively in that sense

• You have excellent written and oral communication in French and English and enjoy working in multicultural and international environments

• You are a curious, highly motivated and open-minded team player!
