Since its creation in 2004, Discngine's purpose is to design IT solutions (Data management, Data visualization, knowledge management…) for the R&D Departments of the international leaders in the pharma, biotech and cosmetic industries.

Discngine aims to follow the teal organisation style. That is where the more typical hierarchical "predict and control" pyramid is replaced with a decentralized structure consisting of small teams that take responsibility for their own governance and for how they interact with other parts of the organization. This also allows exploring areas of activity that go beyond the primary mission of the position (if desired), by participating in transversal working groups (DevOps, event organization, recruitment, ...).
