📋 Context

The Data Analytics team is built around 4 verticals: acquisition, transformation, post-financing, and operations.

The ideal candidate will join the post-financing vertical, possessing a strong analytical mindset combined with an expertise in finance and credit risk management. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for both developing data models and analyzing our data to provide insights to the different Younits.

You will work closely with various teams from the Risk, Data and Finance divisions including Credit Strategy Management, Credit Portfolio Management, Data Engineer,Data Science, Fraud & Compliance, ALM, and others to provide actionable insights.

Your responsabilities :

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for :

Data Modeling:

• Collaborate with the Data Engineers and Tech teams in designing and implementing robust data models, ensuring a cohesive approach to data management.

• Ascertain project data requirements and articulate these needs effectively.

  Data Analyses:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis and build explanatory models to understand our various business streams, with a particular focus on identifying key risk trends.

• Work with diverse teams to formulate data strategies and provide data-driven recommendations for strategic decisions.

• Communicate your findings and insights clearly to key stakeholders including ExCo, Risk&Data, and Finance divisions.

  Data Visualization:

• Design and develop in coordination with business teams, metrics, dashboards and reports to drive understanding of all the Risk Data and Finance teams.

• Ensure the precise delivery of visualization tools and communicate about it to maximize dashboard adoption across Younited.

  Data Governance:

• Collaborate with the Product team to sculpt projects that address business challenges, uniting divisions around strategic KPIs.

• Mentor users across Younited, assisting them in leveraging BigQuery/PowerBI effectively and fostering their independence in data related tasks.

🫵 About your profile

• Engineering or analytics background with a Master’s focused on finance/statistics/business intelligence from a top engineering/business school.

• 3 years of experience in a data role within a tech startup or a financial institution.

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proficiency in Python or R

• Comprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies and financial modelling.

• Experience in Fixed Income/Credit is a plus.

• Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced highly ambiguous start-up environment and experience meeting multiple objectives with little supervision
