The position

Job description

As a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Platform team, you will play a critical role in building the product foundations that enable Wooclap to scale across entire organizations.

Your mission is to design and build the administrative and organizational surfaces that make Wooclap deployable, configurable, and deeply integrated into institutional workflows.

From permissions and roles to reporting, integrations, and multi-entity management, you will tackle complex product challenges that sit at the heart of our growth strategy.

You will help shape a frontend architecture capable of supporting increasing product complexity while maintaining simplicity, performance, and usability.

You will work in a cross-functional product squad alongside Engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer with a strong emphasis on ownership, system thinking, and long-term impact.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and build high-impact product for administrators and organizational use cases

  • Work across complex product domains such as organization management, permissions & roles, reporting, and integrations configuration

  • Take strong ownership of complex frontend areas, from technical design to production and continuous improvement

  • Help evolve our frontend architecture and design system as the product scales

  • Translate sophisticated product requirements into intuitive, scalable interfaces

  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions

  • Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, testing practices, and a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability

Our Tech Stack

Frontend: JavaScript, React, internal design system

Backend: JavaScript, Node.js

Platform: AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions

We work in continuous integration and ship to production frequently, with a strong focus on reliability and security.


Preferred experience

What we’re looking for :

  • 5+ years of experience building modern, production-grade web applications

  • Strong expertise in React (or similar) and experience contributing to scalable frontend architectures

  • You have experience working on product environments with meaningful complexity, such as workflows, permissions, configuration, or data-rich interfaces.

  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping shape solutions in evolving product areas

  • You naturally think beyond components and consider systems, user journeys, and long-term maintainability

  • You take ownership, bring clarity to complex topics, and help move initiatives forward

  • You collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering partners

  • You care about building robust software that stands the test of time, not short-term fixes

Preferred experience :

  • Experience working on product-driven SaaS applications

  • Strong experience with React or similar modern frameworks

  • Experience contributing to a design system or shared frontend components

  • Experience building admin surfaces, back-office tools, or platform-oriented products is a strong plus

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives is a plus
