Job description

🚀 The Context
Naboo is scaling fast. We have secured our €20M Series B, established ourselves as a leader in France, and are now setting our sights on the US & UK markets. We are transitioning from a “move fast and break things” startup to a structured, world-class technology company. We have a team of dedicated “doers,” but to reach the next level, we need a strategic leader to bridge the gap between our C-Level vision and our execution squads.

🎯 The Mission
As a Group Product Manager, you will lead a Tribe of 5 Product Managers. You will report directly to the CPO and play a pivotal role in the Product leadership team. Your mission is twofold: Coach the team to excellence and Drive the strategy for your entire domain. You will not just be building features; you will be building the machine that builds the product.

Key Challenges for the next 12-18 months:

  • Elevate Product Culture: Transition the team from an “execution” mindset to an “outcome” mindset. Help us bridge the gap between European standards and US Tech best practices.

  • Master “Shape Up”: We use Shape Up. You will ensure the betting table is fed with high-quality pitches and that the delivery rhythm remains efficient across all 5 squads.

  • Scale the Team: Hiring, onboarding, and mentoring PMs to help them grow from Junior/Mid to Senior levels.

  • Strategic Coherence: Ensure that the roadmap of your Tribe aligns perfectly with the company’s expansion goals (US/UK) and technical scalability.

Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Manage and mentor a team of 5 Product Managers.

  • Create a culture of high standards: challenge your team on discovery depth, solution design, and impact measurement.

  • Conduct weekly 1:1s, define career paths, and handle performance reviews.

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Translate the company’s strategic goals into a clear product strategy for your Tribe.

  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Designers to ensure technical feasibility and UX excellence.

Feed yourself with market insights and “US-standard” benchmarks to push the product further than what users explicitly ask for.

Process & Execution

  • Act as the guardian of the Shape Up methodology within your scope.

  • Ensure that “Discovery” is not just a buzzword but a rigorous process involving data, user interviews, and market analysis.

  • Monitor delivery quality: You are the final gatekeeper before shipping to ensure we meet high quality standards.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Business Stakeholders (Sales, Ops, Finance) regarding your Tribe’s roadmap.

  • Communicate trade-offs, risks, and strategic decisions clearly to the C-Level.

Preferred experience

  • Experience: 6+ years in Product Management, with a proven track record of managing multiple Product Managers (managing a team of 3+ people is required).

  • Scale-up DNA: You have seen “what good looks like” in a structured Product Org (Series B/C or established Tech company). You know how to scale processes without killing velocity.

  • Methodology: You are comfortable with structured delivery frameworks (Shape Up is a strong plus, or robust Scrum/Kanban).

  • Product Sense: You have a strong intuition for UX/UI. You don’t just ship “functional” features; you care about the “craft” and quality.

  • Leadership: You lead with empathy but demand excellence. You know how to give tough feedback to help people grow.

  • English First: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (our ambition is global).

Recruitment process

  • Step 1: Screening Call with the CPO (30 min) – Align on expectations, role, and vision.

  • Step 2: Past Project Review with the Product Team (90 min) – A deep dive into a significant professional project you led or a team transformation you managed. No take-home case study; we want to see real-world impact.

  • Step 3: Culture Fit Interview with Co-founders (60 min) – Discussing values, ambition, and team dynamics.
