The core mission:

As Application Scientist, you will need to provide expert scientific support to our customers, understand their scientific challenges and biological questions, and translate their needs to the internal teams, promoting and developing WhiteLab applications and ensuring customer satisfaction. As such, this role will require strong interaction with both internal and external experts in different fields, including molecular biologists, computational biologists, data scientists, and structural biologists.

At WhiteLab Genomics, you will:

• Work in constant connection and in a highly collaborative manner with all WhiteLab teams, notably with the Biology, CompBio and Data science teams to ensure the efficient relay of information and translation of customer needs

• Develop and maintain effective communication with prospects and customers

• Present WhiteLab solutions to the customers

• Ensure on-time and optimal customer projects delivery, as well as follow up support

• Keep up with latest developments and technologies, align with these same teams on customer support answers and approaches

• Support the Business Development team and help qualify prospects to ensure that WhiteLab’s solutions meet their expectations and needs; Identify and develop KOL relationships to help promote sales

• Collect customers’ feedback to help improve current products and define future products

• Contribute to the development of new features and applications of WhiteLab Genomics’ gene and cell therapy platform

• Represent the company at conferences, webinars etc.

• Participate in drafting and editing of scientific papers/white papers/posters, oral presentations

Required skills:

• PhD in genomics, cellular, and molecular biology or a similar field

• Excellent presentation skills are needed to present the company’s solutions to prospective customers

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Able to communicate with team members and cross-functional project teams

• Comfortable to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Highly motivated with desire and ability to learn

• Good networking skills

• Good knowledge of the latest scientific developments

Bonus skills:

• Knowledge in gene and cell therapy field is preferred

• Knowledge in bioinformatic analysis is a plus
