We’re deploying our own chip (ASIC), launching a satellite constellation, and preparing for global expansion. To achieve worldwide coverage, Wheere will need over 250 satellites in orbit by 2030. We’ve already secured 45–60. The next step: build strategic partnerships to deploy the rest — with the greatest actors of the sector (NASA, JAXA, Starlink etc).
2. YOUR MISSION
We’re looking for a Space Strategic Development Lead to manage and execute Wheere’s strategy for embedding our technology into third-party satellite constellations.
Inside our Space Team and managed by our Spatial Program Manager, you will engage both public space agencies and private space operators, identifying opportunities to collaborate, co-deploy, and create mutual value. Your mission is to ensure Wheere’s presence in upcoming constellations.
Key Missions
Identify, assess, and initiate strategic partnerships with key players including space agencies, primes, integrators, and startups.
Conduct competitive analysis, market sizing, and opportunity assessments to inform strategic decisions.
Drive B2B engagement, negotiations, and collaboration agreements
Respond to proposal in the EU, US and Asian space markets
Serve as a technical-commercial bridge between Wheere’s engineering team and external stakeholders.
Represent Wheere in international forums, conferences, and partnership discussions.
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and space industry experience, who is naturally inclined toward partnerships, influence, and international collaboration.
You have the following key competences and qualifications;
Strong background in satellite constellation, GNSS/PNT systems, and aerospace engineering.
Familiarity with regulatory environments (ESA, ITU, JAXA, NASA, etc ).
Experience in spacecraft or payload development cycles.
Proven ability to build and execute market entry strategies.
Track record of partner and ecosystem development in international contexts.
Understanding of commercial, civil, and dual-use space applications.
Experience managing cross-functional teams or initiatives.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills across cultures.
Fluent English required. French is a plus, not mandatory.

Additional/bonus skills :
Multilingual capabilities (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin preferred).
Experience with US or Asian space startup ecosystems.
Previous roles in dual-market or multinational space companies.
Prior participation in technology diplomacy or bilateral collaborations
Familiar with space-capable VCs, innovation clusters, etc
