The position

Job description

WeWard’ Core Team leads new features development and maintenance for WeWard on IOS and Android with a data-driven and results-focused engineering and product mindset, As a React Native Engineer on our core team, you’ll craft exceptional features across diverse domains including health, gamification, and subscriptions.

Your Role: Build world-class mobile experiences that drive WeWard’s adoption and engagement while serving as the team’s Android expert. Your focus areas include:

  • Developing innovative features for our mobile application in close collaboration with design and product teams

  • Analyzing and optimizing Android application performance for maximum efficiency

  • Promoting robust and maintainable code

  • Sharing expertise, developing skills collaboratively, and contributing to team knowledge to consistently deliver the best user experience


Preferred experience

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proficiency TypeScript and React Native. Strong background and proven experience in building apps with RN

  • Some expertise in Android development with Kotlin

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and deep understanding of mobile platform capabilities.

  • Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.

  • Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus

  • Android enthusiast: You use an Android device daily and you’ll never trade it for an iPhone.

  • Passionate about the react native ecosystem. You know all of the new features and evolutions

  • Experience in the B2C industry.

  • Experienced in implementing and using monitoring and observability tools and practices to ensure mobile application health, performance, and stability.
