You’ll join a collaborative Treasury team of 3 people (including one apprentice), where each team member owns a core process while being cross-trained to support each other for business continuity.
In this role, you’ll be the process owner for cash forecasting while also contributing to operations such as payments, cash accounting, and bank reconciliation. You’ll work closely with internal teams (FP&A, Tax, Reserving, etc.) and external banking partners, playing a vital part in building the treasury function of tomorrow at Wakam.
Deliver monthly cash forecasts over a rolling 12-month horizon in coordination with Finance and business teams
Monitor actual vs. forecast gaps, analyze variances, and update rolling forecasts
Act as a key business partner for internal teams and external banking contacts
Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash accounting
Identify and resolve discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
Support treasury-related IT and process improvement projects
Back up the daily cash manager to prepare and execute payments (partners, tax, vendors)
Continuously improve treasury processes and contribute to tool enhancements

A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in treasury, management control, or financial operations — ideally in a digital, insurance, or financial services environment
A keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset when investigating discrepancies or improving processes
Strong analytical and organisational skills — able to monitor and report cash positions by partner, entity, or country
Ability to manage multiple tasks with a structured and methodical approach
Interest in data and automation — ideally with experience in tools like Power BI
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across teams and with banking partners
Comfortable working in both French and English
