The position

Job description

Main tasks:

o Actively prospect a portfolio of key account prospects (Tiers 1) in order to increase customer’s base in Italy

o Follow up and develop a portfolio of key accounts (Tiers 1) and deploy our new innovations to our existing customers

o Organize answers to tenders and write commercial proposals, in close collaboration with internals departments (product managers, after-sales services, installations, deployment, etc.) and, if necessary, in collaboration with the Global Account Manager in charge of the account at a global level.

o Develop the turnover on his commercial scope and achieve the objectives set

Secondary tasks:

o Develop good relationship with the decision makers, at the highest level

o Participate in client events or trade shows

o Assist marketing in the development of business cases or communications / customer stories

  • Update regularly the CRM tools with opportunities and manage his/her customer and prospect base
  • Feed back information about competitors to his/her manager and the marketing department

Preferred experience

Professional Experiences:  

  • Successful experience of min 4-5 years in a similar position (Key Account Manager or Area Manager) and really performance oriented
  • The candidate must have a sales background in selling technical complex hardware and software solutions with services in BtoB with long sales cycle



  • Fluent written and spoken English and Italian
  • Another language is a plus


Required qualifications:

  • Excellent Relations skills ranging from store level to company C-level.
  • Ability to identify solution value for the individual customers and transforming this into additional sales.
  • High level of personal drive and proactive work methods
  • Possess ability to prioritization of the strategic tasks from customer and SES perspective.
