The position

Job description

Your Mission

  • Design and implement stunning visual effects (VFX) and shaders that enhance the gameplay experience.

  • Set up and maintain best technical practices for the art pipeline (asset integration, optimization, tools).

  • Work closely with artists and developers to ensure assets are optimized and consistent across the game.

  • Push Unity’s rendering and particle systems to create eye-catching, performant visuals tailored for mobile devices.

  • Establish guidelines and tools to streamline the art production workflow.


Preferred experience

What we’re Looking For:

  • Strong expertise with Unity (URP, Shader Graph, Particle System, VFX Graph).

  • Ability to craft optimized shaders and performant VFX for mobile.

  • Experience in mobile game optimization (batching, texture atlases, compression, GPU/CPU profiling).

  • Solid artistic sense: color, composition, and feedback clarity in casual/cartoony styles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work between art and engineering teams.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills**: you’ll act as the bridge between art and engineering, ensuring that creative ideas are translated into performant technical solutions.**

Nice to Have :

  • Prior experience on published casual or Match-3 games.

  • Knowledge of Unity’s animation systems (Animator, Timeline, DOTween).

  • Skills in C# for tool creation and automation.

  • Familiarity with Spine, Houdini, or other VFX/animation tools.
