Senior Engineer - Mechanical or Civil Bias (Client Side)

  • Location – Hinton House, Warrington (minimum of 3 days per week office attendance)
  • Arrangement – Contract or permanent 
  • Rate: Up to £55/hr Umbrella DOE

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.

 

Role:

  • Support to the Technical team responsible for managing the leak within MSSS Original Building.
  • Lead packages of work. Expect the candidate to work autonomously with limited support and direction (once up to speed).
  • Candidate will perform work themselves. There is potential for support to be provided ad-hoc but no additional resources can made available to support full time.
  • Scoping and specification of technical work.
  • Leadership of specific work packages (could be internally or externally delivered).
  • NFR/report production and presentation.
  • Checking and review of other team member’s work.
  • Planning of future scope (e.g. transition from technical to design/projects).
  • Regulatory engagement on allocated work packages.

 


Preferred experience

Background:

  • Chartered in their discipline
  • Engineering Discipline
  • Experience in the Nuclear Industry, preferable with Sellafield MSSS and Silos.
