Job description

Bachy Soletanche is a world‑leading geotechnical contracting specialist, delivering innovative and sustainable geotechnical and foundation engineering solutions. From diaphragm walls to piling, grouting, anchors and ground improvement, our work shapes the built environment and solves complex ground challenges across the UK.

We believe our people are our greatest asset. Collaboration, trust, and excellence lie at the heart of everything we do. If you’re passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and driving digital transformation across an organisation—this is the role for you.

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and forward‑thinking Quality & IMS Manager to lead the ongoing development, implementation, and optimisation of our Integrated Management System (IMS). This role sits at the intersection of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Digital Transformation, offering a rare opportunity to shape how our business operates.

You will ensure we maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, champion continuous improvement, drive digitalisation initiatives, and guide the organisation in enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of our processes.

Preferred experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and continual improvement of our Integrated Management System across all business divisions.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO standards, ensuring ongoing certification and readiness for audits.
  • Oversee internal audit programmes, identifying risks, non‑conformities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the business in preparing for external audits and maintaining relevant performance indicators.
  • Lead digitalisation efforts—introducing, embedding and optimising digital tools to enhance business processes and system performance.
  • Drive business improvements through data insights, process optimisation and best‑practice initiatives.
  • Develop meaningful KPIs to measure system effectiveness and support organisational decision‑making.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement across teams and departments.
  • Oversee document control processes and ensure robust information management.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of Integrated Management Systems.
  • ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Internal Auditor accreditation.
  • Experience with digitalisation, document management systems, and data‑driven improvements; familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Confident IT skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Working Environment

This is a full‑time role based in our Camberley office, with hybrid working available. Travel to regional offices and operational sites will be required to support audits, meetings, and collaboration activities.
