Veesion is experiencing rapid growth following its successful Series B funding round. This expansion phase requires strengthening our technical foundation and scaling our development capabilities to meet increasing market demands.

As we expand our team, we’re looking for a Junior DevOps/SRE to make a meaningful impact on our technology stack and team culture during this growth phase.

You’ll report to the Senior DevOps and work within a flexible structure, moving between the Application and Platform teams while collaborating with various stakeholders to transform the retail industry.

Missions

  • Collaborate closely with our Senior DevOps to sustain and enhance our cloud infrastructure.

  • Help develop automation processes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and deployment frameworks.

  • Maintain system reliability, scalability, and security in our dynamic environment.

  • Lead FinOps initiatives by tracking and optimizing cloud expenses to deliver efficient, cost-effective infrastructure.

  • Assist engineering teams by delivering powerful tooling and infrastructure solutions.


Preferred experience

You possess valuable initial experience in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE positions within a startup, scaleup, or modern technical environment.

You’re well-versed in several key areas:

  • AWS cloud infrastructure.

  • Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.

  • Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

  • CI/CD implementation with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar platforms.

  • Monitoring and logging solutions including Prometheus, Grafana, and Sentry.

  • You thrive on rapid learning, adaptability, and embracing new challenges.

  • Your strengths include exceptional problem-solving abilities and genuine collaborative spirit.

  • You communicate effectively and concisely while working harmoniously with diverse personality types.

  • You’re fluent in both English and French.
