We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Node JS) freelancer to join the PIM product team (within the Sales Preparation domain and Content Production tribe) at vpTech.

Veepee is building its own Product Information Management tool. Our PIM will be the heart of the group IT systems, being the unique source of truth of our articles data. The PIM contains the attributes of the articles we sell, their standardised technical description, the unique referential of our classification. As a logical storage for articles data, we also need to have a strong and powerful retrieval system, with administrative interfaces to consult and update data if needed. Reliability, integrity and performance are the keys of success of this application.

Responsabilities :

Maintain existing applications already in production

Add new designs and re-design existing features of our products

Suggest on interfaces and other possible improvements that might be done

Write technical documentation

Keep the code clean and review your team members’ designs if needed

Ensure the reliability and scalability of developed applications

Respect the production deadlines

Willing to train and mentor junior developers

Handle the technical interviews with other developers willing to join Veepee.

Your profile :

Training : University Degree / Higher Education Training Cycle

Specific knowledge : You master Javascript and more especially NodeJS, JavaScript, have experience with relational and noSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) and PostgreSQL, with message brokers (RabbitMQ) and microservices.

It is appreciated : Experience or willingness to learn about GraphQL and / or Neo4J principles. You are sensitive to UX and UI issues and are able to integrate mockups easily.

Previous Experience : 5+ years of experience in software development.

Competences : You are able to help building APIs, have usage of testing tools such as Jest, Cucumber, Puppeteer, K6 and good knowledge of Git. You are an agile follower, passionate about new technologies, result and product-oriented. Your English is good enough to discuss this job opportunity.
