Job Summary

Valiantys BX (Netherlands) is looking for an Atlassian Consultant. As a key member of our IT Service Management (ITSM) practice, you will specialize in leveraging the Atlassian tool suite to deliver tailored ITSM solutions. You will play a critical role in analyzing client needs, designing customized solutions, and configuring Atlassian tools to streamline ITSM processes.

Your mission will focus on optimizing workflows, enhancing collaboration, and refining service management practices through tools such as Jira Service Management, Confluence, and CMDB & Asset Management. You’ll work closely with clients, providing strategic guidance, delivering training, and ensuring they get the most value from their Atlassian implementation in the ITSM space.

Purpose and Responsibilities

Project Delivery

-Deliver billable consulting services using Atlassian tools and project management best practices.

-Lead end-to-end client projects, from kick-off to deployment and validation.

-Drive project success and support junior consultants when needed.

Customer Management

-Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

-Understand and align with client business objectives to ensure project impact.

Consulting & Expertise

-Apply technical and functional knowledge to high-value projects (e.g. audits, complex configurations).

-Stay informed on market trends and Atlassian competitive positioning.

Collaboration & Thought Leadership

-Contribute to pre-sales efforts and support proposal creation.

-Share knowledge internally and participate in blog posts, internal wikis, and knowledge base development.

-Grow into a subject-matter expert (e.g. Agile, ITIL, Digital Transformation) or product champion.

ITSM Specialization

-Design and configure Atlassian solutions for service request automation, incident/problem management, and change management.

-Ensure alignment with ITSM compliance and governance standards.

Do you have what it takes to be our future Atlassian Consultant?

You have a technical background in computer science or equivalent experience, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth. You’ve led successful projects, communicated effectively with both executives and technical teams, and delivered small to mid-sized technical engagements—particularly around Atlassian tools.

You’re familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), understand the full software development lifecycle, and can implement Atlassian solutions without coding. You work well both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is required; a second language is a plus.

This role is located in Rotterdam. We offer flexible remote/office hybrid working policy.
