Job description

We’re looking for Product Managers at various levels of experience to join our Product & Tech team in Paris, France. Compensation and scope will be aligned with your background.

At Upway, Product & Tech builds with heart for our consumers, our individual and professional sellers, and the teams operating our refurbishment centers (called UpCenters). We create scalable sourcing channels, power efficient refurbishment operations, and deliver an exceptional digital experience for buying, owning, and selling an e-bike.

If you want a deeper look at our mission, products, and how we build, explore our new public page: upway.co/tech

We are looking for a Product Manager to solve unique challenges and create solutions for our buyers, sellers, and operations teams across the globe.

🚴 Products you may work on

  • Supply (sourcing e-bikes). Build products for individual e-bike owners selling their bike, and for 5,000+ merchants using our B2B app. The challenge: make Upway the default choice for anyone selling an e-bike, from a single rider to a shop moving hundreds of units.

  • UpCenter Operations (refurbishing bikes). Our proprietary platform powers every step of operations across 7 UpCenters: logistics, repairs, quality control, photography, storage, shipping, and more. We’re scaling fast and investing heavily in automation, workflows, and operator tools.

  • Commerce & Customer Experience (selling bikes, and beyond). Over 1 million visitors come to our store each month. You’ll work on trust, education, comparison, and guidance tools that make buying a refurbished e-bike intuitive and reliable. Beyond the purchase, you’ll shape the full ownership journey up to resale.

💙 What you will do

As a Product Manager at Upway, your core responsibility is to understand users deeply, uncover the right problems, and shape meaningful solutions. We use the Shape Up methodology to keep you focused on what actually matters.

You will:

  • Become the expert on your users. Through data, interviews, field visits, and hands-on time in our UpCenters and with our partners, you will build unmatched insight into their needs and pain points.

  • Shape the problems worth solving. Turn messy, ambiguous challenges into clear opportunities. Define what’s worth solving, and what isn’t.

  • Build delightful product features. Partner with designers and engineers to build the right solutions, unblock decisions, validate assumptions, and ensure building the right thing on time.

  • Measure and iterate. Track what you ship, understand impact, run experiments, and continuously improve.

  • Work across countries and products. You’ll collaborate with international teams based in 10 countries.

Preferred experience

  • Experience. At least 2 years of Product Management experience. We welcome a range of seniority levels; scope and responsibilities will be adapted accordingly. International or startup/scale-up experience is a plus.

  • Discovery and problem-definition. You excel at the fuzzy front-end: talking to users, synthesizing insights, and framing crisp problems. You know how to narrow scope, make hard trade-offs.

  • Attention to detail. You have strong product taste and a sharp eye for clear UX, clean logic, and delightful user journeys.

  • Analytical rigor. Comfortable with data, A/B testing, and ideally SQL, or motivated to learn quickly.

  • Ownership and accountability. You operate with autonomy and accountability. You’re motivated by outcomes and care deeply about the products you build.

  • English speakers welcomed. We’re building an international Product & Tech team based in Paris. French is not required. We sponsor visas and offer a relocation stipend.

  1. Intro call with our recruiter to explore your background and motivations

  2. In-depth interviews with our Product team, including a live case study held in one of our UpCenters

  3. Interview with a General Manager

  4. Final stage with our CEO

  5. Reference calls
