About the team

We’re a driven, fun, and detail-oriented Vendor Management Team dedicated to strengthening Turo’s roadside and support partnerships. We work closely with designers, researchers, data analysts, product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional peers to ensure our vendor operations consistently deliver world-class customer and host experiences.

We believe that true success comes from collaboration and continuous improvement. By building strong, transparent relationships with our partners, we ensure that operational excellence and customer satisfaction are not only goals, but shared commitments.

Your role will go beyond monitoring performance—you’ll dive deep into data, uncover root causes, and create actionable insights that continuously improve Turo’s roadside assistance program.

You’ll play a critical role in managing Turo’s roadside assistance operations through BPO and roadside partners..  Primary responsibilities include driving performance, building relationships, and collaborating with stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Develop and sustain partner relationships, create joint business plans, and resolve complex issues while acting as a key representative across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive Performance and Compliance: Leverage data and analytical judgment to monitor vendor performance, audit operations for compliance, and drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality and efficiency.

  • Champion the Customer Experience: Advocate for a seamless customer experience by gathering partner insights and guiding communication to ensure high-quality and timely responses.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating comparable skills.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, client services, or BPO leadership.

  • Previous experience in roadside assistance operations—whether managing a program, working directly for a provider, or supporting a roadside campaign within a BPO. You’ll bring practical knowledge of dispatch operations, SLAs, billing reconciliation, and provider network challenges, along with a track record of improving response times, reducing missed rescues, and elevating the customer experience.

  • Familiarity with roadside KPIs such as minutes per rescue, cost per rescue, dispatch compliance, and service-level adherence, with the ability to use these metrics to guide strategic decisions and improve service quality.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic business plans, negotiating contracts, and aligning BPO vendor and roadside operations with organizational goals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with advanced spreadsheet expertise for data analysis and a proven ability to transform complex insights into clear, compelling presentations and reports that drive decision-making.

Bonus if You Have

  • Previous experience using business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Domo, Tableau, or similar tools to build dashboards, analyze performance, and translate data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
