Turo is looking for a Senior Acquisition Marketing Specialist to help turbocharge its fast-growing guest community in the US. The ideal candidate is performance and data-minded, with a passion for setting up and optimizing scalable, high-impact performance marketing campaigns that drive growth across a portfolio of Paid Social channels. You will be responsible for planning, setting up, executing, optimizing, and scaling high-impact campaigns. You will partner with internal teams like Data and Brand to effectively execute your plans. This role reports to our Director, Acquisition (US).
Plan and execute paid user acquisition campaigns across a diverse channel portfolio including Meta, Reddit, Pinterest, and TikTok, across web and/or app advertising.
Be hands-on daily, managing and fine-tuning campaigns, testing optimal bidding strategies, exploring growth opportunities, and optimizing performance to meet KPIs such as CAC, CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV, and payback period.
Conduct A/B testing and identify best-performing content, creative, copy, and landing pages to maximize acquisition efforts and own the feedback loop with the design and content studio team.
Conduct regular audience targeting and competitive analysis.
Pull, manipulate, and report on campaign and channel data to develop actionable insights.
Utilize web analytics and attribution platforms to measure and lift performance.
Partner with internal and global cross-functional teams, including SEO, Brand, Creative Studio, Product, and Data to execute acquisition plans.
4+ years of experience in performance or digital marketing at a B2C, media agency, or eCommerce company.
Technical user acquisition background, with proven knowledge of campaign setup, ad creation, and targeting levers.
Proven experience with Paid Social channels and media buying across other various channels (paid search, display, video, app advertising), customer acquisition KPIs, campaign types, ad formats, audiences, and best practices.
Track record of scaling paid campaigns, launching new channels, and building and implementing a creative testing engine.
Proficient in manipulating data and generating concise reports with actionable insights.
Strong collaboration skills, having worked on cross-team projects / integrated campaigns.
Strong project management skills – with the ability to independently complete assigned tasks successfully and on time.
Comfortable taking the initiative, naturally curious, and a growth mindset.
Your day-to-day toolkit includes Excel, GA4, GTM, Appsflyer and other similar tools.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
BA/BS in Business/Marketing, Economics, Math & Statistics.
Relevant experience managing a 7-digit annual advertising budget, and efficiently allocating it across campaigns to maximize profitability.
For this role, the target base salary range for California remote locations in the US is $85,000-$106,000 annually, and your recruiter can share more about the specific range for your location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the minimum and maximum market-based targets for the role based on its level and location and are subject to change. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
