About the team

The Host Success team is dedicated to empowering our community of hosts to thrive on Turo. We foster strong relationships, provide education and support, and deliver programs that drive growth and engagement across key markets. Our mission is to ensure hosts feel supported, informed, and confident as entrepreneurs in the Turo ecosystem.

Turo is redefining car rental, and we're seeking a bold and entrepreneurial person to spearhead our growth. As a Bilingual Associate Host Success Manager (HSM) at Turo, you’ll help build and strengthen the community of car-sharing entrepreneurs who power our marketplace. You’ll be the face of Turo for our hosts—coaching them to grow their business, connecting them with peers, and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

This is a great opportunity for a recent bilingual graduate or early-career professional who loves connecting with people, organizing events, and helping others succeed. You’ll gain firsthand experience in how a two-sided marketplace operates, develop community management skills, and play a direct role in improving host satisfaction and marketplace quality.

What you will do

  • Relationship Building & Host Engagement

    • Build trusted relationships with Turo hosts through proactive calls, email check-ins, and virtual or in-person meetings.

    • Host monthly office hours and community roundtables to connect hosts, share insights, and strengthen engagement.

    • Plan and execute community events in key markets (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary) to connect with local hosts, celebrate milestones, and build belonging.

    • Attend occasional in-person visits (IPVs) to better understand host operations and gather success stories to share across the community.

  • Strategic Coaching & Marketplace Quality

    • Support hosts with data-driven coaching on pricing strategy, airport delivery setup, and listing optimization.

    • Help improve marketplace quality by identifying opportunities for hosts to boost ratings, reduce cancellations, and align with Turo’s pricing recommendations.

    • Track and follow up on host progress to ensure ongoing improvement in fulfillment rate, guest experience, and profitability.

  • Advocacy & Escalation Support

    • Act as the voice of the host within Turo, ensuring feedback and challenges are heard and addressed.

    • Triage and escalate time-sensitive host issues (e.g., claims, trust & safety, or support delays) through defined protocols and service level agreements.

    • Communicate empathetically and effectively to strengthen host trust and long-term engagement.

Your profile

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) — required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading conversations by phone, Zoom, or in person.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A natural community builder who enjoys connecting people and fostering collaboration.

  • Curious, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and CRM tools such as Kustomer or Salesforce.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for host events or market visits.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1 year of experience in customer success, community management, or operations (internships or part-time work count).

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience in a two-sided marketplace or peer-to-peer platform.

  • PMP, CPM, or other relevant professional certifications.
