About the team

Turo is looking for a Acquisition Marketing Manager to help turbocharge its fast-growing guest community in the US. You'll be joining a hard-working, down-to-earth Marketing team that enjoys working collaboratively with many teams in the company to ensure we are strategizing, prioritizing, and optimizing on work to deliver on company goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven digital marketer and will be responsible for planning and executing on paid acquisition campaigns across different paid channels including Paid Social, Display & Videos, and OTAs and optimize/enhance performance to hit or exceed our KPIs. This role will work collaboratively with Data, Global AdTech/MarTech, Global Brand Creative Studio, and more. 

What you’ll do

  • Strategically plan and assist in executing paid user acquisition campaigns across a diverse channel portfolio including paid social and programmatic channels. Be hands-on daily, managing and fine-tuning campaigns, testing optimal bidding strategies, exploring growth opportunities, and optimizing performance to meet KPIs such as CAC, CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV, and payback period. 

  • Conduct regular testing to identify best-performing content, creative, copy, and landing pages to maximize acquisition efforts and own the feedback loop with the design and content studio team and conduct regular audience targeting and competitive analysis. 

  • Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities to scale through new partners, formats, or targeting strategies and stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and competitive benchmarks to inform channel strategy 

  • Support monthly forecasting, budget tracking, and reporting in collaboration with leadership 

  • Partner with internal/external and global cross-functional teams, including SEO, Brand, Creative Studio, Product, and Data to execute acquisition plans.

Your Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in performance or digital marketing at a B2C, media agency, or marketplace company.

  • Technical user acquisition background, with proven knowledge of campaign setup, ad creation, and targeting levers.

  • Proven experience with Paid Social, Display and Video channels and media buying across other various channels (paid search, paid social, and, app/web advertising), customer acquisition KPIs, campaign types, ad formats, audiences, and best practices. Experience with affiliate platforms, display/video partners and/or OTAs is a plus. 

  • Track record of scaling paid campaigns, launching new channels, and building and implementing a creative testing engine.

  • Proven ability to manage complexity, ask sharp questions, and drive outcomes with limited resources 

  • Analytical mindset with strategic orientation being comfortable with building frameworks, not just reports 

  • Strong collaboration skills, having worked on cross-team projects / integrated campaigns.

  • Strong project management skills – with the ability to independently complete assigned tasks successfully and on time.

  • Demonstrates Turo’s values through work product and within day to day team interactions.

For this role, the target base salary range for San Francisco is $114,000-$143,000 annually, and your recruiter can share more about the specific range for your location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the minimum and maximum market-based targets for the role based on its level and location and are subject to change. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
