Internship - Private Debt Milan (H/F) - January 2026

Join Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset management group, as an intern in the Private Debt team in Milan. You will support the team in evaluating, filtering, executing, and monitoring Private Debt transactions. Your main tasks will include analyzing target companies, updating financial models and presentations, drafting investment committee memos, and monitoring portfolio companies. Candidates should be pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, have previous experience in M&A Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Private Debt Funds, and be fluent in Italian and English.

The position

Job description

Missions:


You will be a support to the Private Debt team in evaluating, filtering, executing and monitoring of Private Debt transactions.


Main tasks include:

  • Studying and analysing activity, market positioning and financial performance of target companies;
  • Updating financial models and presentations;
  • Supporting the drafting of investment committee memo;
  • Supporting the monitoring of portfolio companies, drafting periodical reports and analyses.



Preferred experience

Profile:


  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree from a tier-1 business school or university with a specialization in Finance,
  • Previous experience in M&A Investment Banking and/or Private Equity and/or Private Debt Funds,
  • Native in Italian and fluent in English,
  • Good knowledge of Excel (Financial Modelling) and Power Point,
  • Curious and proactive, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
  • International mindset, exchange abroad program is a plus.
