The position

Job description

Our products impact both the facility management market and healthcare. During the pandemic we managed to change our focus to a new Stop&Go solution which monitors the flow of people, making us even more visible on the tech market.
Technis team, originally formed around EPFL engineers, has now expanded into a dynamic group of people with various experiences and knowledge in terms of newest technologies.
The company is now developing its activities in multiple countries and our need for talented developers is increasing. The Paris team originally focused on sales and marketing is now diversifying its activities with designer and software development positions.
Technis’ vision is to offer to each member the opportunities to improve both their technical skills and soft skills, while being challenged in the everyday developing process.

We are currently developing multiple projects, both web and mobile. Our main projects are about facility and retail management, handling flow of people in buildings and monitoring elderly behaviors in nursing homes. You will be part of the developing and maintaining process, writing both frontend and backend code while integrating it in our cloud infrastructure.

To achieve this, your work will consist of:

  • Understanding the underlying business value of the new features
  • Designing, implementing and integrating new features into the existing products
  • Validating the behaviour of the product
  • Write unit tests for non-regression of the software

Preferred experience

  • Bachelor/Master degree in computer science, communication systems or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years experience with React/React-Native, CSS, HTML, Javascript
  • At least 1 years experience with GraphQL
  • Rigorous, curious, autonomous, proactive and open to team work
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development environment
  • Languages: English (French is a plus)

Optional skills :

  • Knowledge of Typescript
  • Previous experience with React frameworks like Redux, Apollo
  • Previous experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch)
  • UI/UX abilities
