It all began in 2014 with a group of cybersecurity professionals, members of a CSIRT within a major European financial institution. Faced with a growing wave of incidents and a lack of suitable tools, they decided to build their own solution—one designed to meet the real-world needs of the industry.

This is how TheHive was born, and within just a few years, it was adopted by hundreds of cybersecurity teams worldwide.

In 2018, responding to the increasing demand for services and support, its three co-creators—Jérôme Leonard, Thomas Franco, and Nabil Adouani—founded StrangeBee.

Entirely bootstrapped, StrangeBee has grown organically, reinvesting revenues generated from support and services.

StrangeBee continues its development with sustained growth and an expanding international presence, already serving over 170 clients across more than 50 countries.
