What you'll do

  • Define & lead the strategy for production and distribution. You'll need to understand industry trends; empathize with prospects; understand customer needs; and stay up-to-date on product information.
  • Enable consistent, high quality content creation & promotion. Work closely with internal team members and freelancers to create content across a variety of formats. Devise & execute promotional plans for new content resources. And make sure we do it all in a consistent way that is true to our brand.
  • Oversee marketing activities across earned and owned media. Cultivate and demonstrate a strong understanding of the marketing automation community. Empower your team to identify new and creative ways to engage and educate them. This position will oversee our social media channels, PR strategy, customer marketing, nurturing workflow
  • Set & track against meaningful success criteria. Set clear objectives for your team, and ensure you have the right tracking in place to report on their progress.
  • Promote a content-first culture. You'll be expected to play a leadership role across the company in advocating for and encouraging a content-first culture. Proactively solicit content contributions from other teams; mine ideas across the organization; and help educate your colleagues on how to produce high quality content.
  • Who you are

  • Experience directly managing the workload and career development of a content team in brand and/or marketing roles, ideally in a high growth company or startup
  • Organizational experience developing and executing against a cohesive roadmap that aligns with the broader marketing strategy
  • Successful people management experience where you lead by example. We prioritize being kind, respectful, empathetic and supportive.
  • A knack for balancing creativity with business impact, shipping work that resonates with our audience while still nurturing the team to take on fulfilling work
  • Proven experience in content production, understanding how to efficiently produce high-quality content with limited resources.
  • Experience building strong cross-functional relationships and alignment to determine and achieve organizational priorities
  • A clear and generous passion for storytelling, a deep grasp of digital marketing, and an innate ability to drive brand narratives
  • Demonstrated a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Experience shaping a brand’s footprint through multiple content channels and multi-media platforms
  • Driven consistency and adoption of a brand voice and tone across all content initiatives
  • Lead collaboratively through leadership to support your team. You’ll workshop projects, lead brainstorms effectively, and occasionally roll up your sleeves in order to get the job done
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable strategies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools. Knowledge of Webflow as a tool is a strong bonus!
  • A background in SaaS, B2B, or design software industry
  • Experience navigating growing companies and a rapidly changing environment with adaptability and patience
