Sales Engineer – Critical Power (London Region) - Remote

Location: London & Surrounding Area
Department: Critical Power – PCO‑P
Employment Type: Full‑time
Travel: Approx. 50%

Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will:

  • Identify, generate and develop new sales opportunities for Socomec Critical Power products across the London area
  • Build strong relationships with end‑users, design‑and‑build contractors, consultants, and channel partners.
  • Prepare and manage quotations, coordinate with pre‑sales teams, and ensure customers are supported throughout the sales cycle
  • Present and promote new Socomec technologies and demonstrate the quantifiable benefits of our products
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in Expert Services, Energy Efficiency, Power Control & Safety, Energy Storage, and International Key Accounts to maximise opportunities
  • Deepen your knowledge of Socomec’s solutions and the competitive landscape to support effective commercial strategy.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A degree or similar qualification in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Critical Power sales, ideally selling UPS or STS solutions
  • Experience working with IT channels or specialist power VARs (beneficial)
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical or electronic engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting technical solutions to customers
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously when required.
